For Sale

We are off to Texas in 11 days to start the next chapter in our life. It’s the best move for us right now and my hubby will be home all the time instead of gone in another state until the end of the year.

A move to Texas means we are selling the house. I am going to really miss my house. So much hard work and love went into making it what it is. I just hope I can find one I love as much in San Antonio. Luckily, it was only on the market 6 days and we had 4 offers, so we didn’t have to wait too long.

Baby Nursery… a little (1 year) late

Our baby boy’s nursery. I was looking back through the blog and saw that I posted pics of when we first started the nursery but never posted any of it completed!

The doorway has been sealed

Board and batten went up and shelves were put into the built ins.

Lots and lots and lots of painting… the board and batten and shelving all took 5 coats of white. I felt like I was painting for years.

I made the bumper and skirt out of an old duvet cover. I made the sheet from a twin sized sheet.

I just realized I never did a post on Cohen’s birthday party… 3 months ago!!

Well here you go. We had a construction themed party and I think it ranks among the top for my best parties yet.
