I recently finished editing all of the wedding photos that I took a few weeks ago and sent them into Sam's Club to be printed.

Upon picking them up, I had a conversation with the photo clerk that went like this:

Me: Hello, Im here to pick up a large amount of photos I sent in yesterday.

Clerk: What is your last name?

Me: (I gave her my last name)

Clerk: Yes, I remember those photos

Clerk: Here they are. (She proceeds to open them)

Clerk: We are going to need a signature from the photographer who took these. We do not print professional photos unless the photographer consents

Me: I am the photographer. I took the photos and I consent to them being printed

Clerk: (looks at me as if Im lying) you're the photographer??!?

Me: Yes, I took those photos. All of them. All of those right there.

Clerk: Ok…Well they are marked right here with a sticker that we need to have the consent of the photgapher, but if you say you're the one that took them then we do not need that form signed.

Me: Yes, I took them. I promise. (What I should have said was…"Yeah, I know they turned out really well. I, too, am impressed")

I then paid for my photos and left… feeling a little more confident!

If you would like to see some of the photos, go here.
