Happily Domesticated

We have been very busy this last weekend…

Friday, Aubrey spent the night with us. I made us a very delicious dinner!

Then we colored ...

and danced to Hannah Montana ...

THEN…we went to bed. Me, Matt and Aubrey Jane in the middle. Who would have known that this sweet little thing would have kept us up all night kicking, smacking, rolling, with her feet all over matt’s head and fidgeting. By the time morning rolled around, we were broken, sore and sleep deprived. Pam thought this was so funny. then said, "I knew that would happen" followed by “ are you sure your ready for a child” I had to then tell her not to say that so loud…Matt might hear and I don’t want to scare him away from ever having children!

Saturday, we went to Chase’s birthday. He belongs to our friend Mindy. Chase turned 1.

At this party, Aubrey was glued to Matt. I don’t know if I have ever said this before, but Aubrey LOVES Matt. She is always holding his hand or sitting on his lap… She LOVES him.

Saturday night, Matt and I finished the arbor Matt had started the week before. I think this is one of my favorite things he has built for me, next to the pond. It is beautiful. Now our crazy wild man eating morning glory has something to grow up. Oh yeah… I also got another morning glory! Now they are friends and will probably swallow our new lovely arbor.

Sunday we had the family over and Ake, Jaime, Emerson and Kenny for some pre-Cinco De Mayo food. It was nice.
