She is 23 years young.
At 23, she works at the American Cancer Society and has already graduated with her MASTERS degree.
When I see people we went to high school with and they ask about Juggz, I tell them that she is doing great! She has a master’s degree and was the student body president of her college. They are always shocked to hear that since the girl they remember was a blonde cheerleader who always seemed ditzey.
If it wasn’t for her mom grounding her e.v.e.r.y s.i.n.g.l.e weekend for doing some dumb teenage thing that teenagers do… and making her go to after school programs so she could get more homework. This is no exaggeration. All of Jr. High and most of high school she was confined to her house… cleaning. Like Cinderella. The outcome? I don’t think she got a glass slipper, but she does have a Masters Degree.
I used to have to email her mom and ask if Juggz could be ungrounded for a day so she could come to my birthdays. Sometimes depending on what she did to get grounded and how long she had been serving her sentence, she was allowed to. Other time, she had to miss out.
JUGGZ… Don’t ground your kids. (Unless they treat you like you treated your mom) They miss out on to much fun.
Happy Birthday Best Friend. Maybe by your next birthday Matt and I can make you an Aunt J Mama God Mother. I know you would love that! Even if we are 2330 miles away.
