First Snow

We got snow yesterday! Real Snow.

Yesterday when we were leaving the gym there were lots of snow flurries that hadn’t starting sticking yet. We headed to the store to get stuff to make my famous sour cream apple pie and by the time we left the store, my car had actual snow on it. I did what any little kid would do…

I ran (drove) home and got into my snow gear and went outside to play in it. I bought my snow suit at a goodwill about 5 years ago. When I saw it, it was love at first sight. It adds 30 lbs to me and makes me look like I have eaten 10 to many sour cream apple pies, which is mostly true. I think resemble a bottle of pepto-bismol, cotton candy or just a big wad of bubble gum possibly stuck to your shoe.

My scarf and matching hat… I got those last weekend for 1$ at Old Navy. Normally $5 each! As fast as the snow came, it was gone. But the weather man says there should be more all week long! So my awesome snowsuit may be maybe an encore appearance. Stay tuned.
