California Here I Come

In less than 12 hours I will be leaving for California! I should be sleeping right now since I have to wake up at 4 am (1 am California time) but since it's only 7 pm, I am not really that tired.

I have completed my todo list of stuff I needed to get done before leaving. I have written out all the instructions for Matt on how to take care of the house and the dogs while I am gone. I am sure he could figure it all out, but this way I know I left him a list so I hopefully wont have to worry.

I have taken out all the dinners and labeled them with specific days the recipes on how to cook each item. I even sat out all the small appliances he may need as well.

I created a list of snack foods he can eat in case he needs a snack... they only thing I didnt do was label the cabinets on where cups, plates and silverware are... it was just a few months ago he walked int he kitchen and asked where we keep the cups!!

So while im on my 8 day vacation at home, basking in the 60* weather and having unlimited amounts of Go Girls at my disposal, he will be here working and doing school work in the -6* snowy weather... I seem to always miss the negative degree weather... I have never been in a negative degree weather... I am sure I will get a chance to when I return home though!
