Re-upholstered Memo Board

For Christmas, I made my mom a shabby chic memo board. Well, I guess I didn’t really make it, but I reupholstered it!

I got the memo board at goodwill in Texas over Thanksgiving, for $1.

I got the fabric for 4$ and the ribbon was 1$. I already had the upholstery tacks.

I didn’t even bother removing the old fabric before lying on the new fabric.

Here is how I completed the project.

The ribbon is a rosey pink color. In the photo it looks a lot darker.

Mom Liked it!! and it took a total of about 10 mins.
