Monogram Frinzy

I have been very busy today!

I have been monogramming... and it looks good!!I got the idea from Joys Of Home

If you want to know how I did it, she explains it. I would go into detail…but this would be a long post… and I would rather post photos of each step. It’s pretty easy to figure out…

I did one monogram for our bathroom and used the left over fabric from the lamp I recent covered… this project cost me about $.50 for the fabric. I had the frame already.

Then, for my big project, I went to JoAnns and got a burlap fabric for 2.99$ a yard then used my 40% off coupon on top of it. I used an old empty frame to make art for above my bed… I really like how it turned out and surprisingly, Matt said it was nice too… It still needs to be ironed.

After printing off the letters I liked in a BIG 800 size font, I laid it out to make sure it fit.

Then I taped everything to a window and started tracing the letters onto the canvas

Then I painted each letter with black paint

After letting the paint dry, I duct taped the fabric to the back of the picture frame

Then I placed it in the glassless empty frame and hung it above our bed!

One day I hope to have a big beautiful bedroom set... until then... here is what I got.
