Caribbean Cruise

Our cruise was great.
We went with the Ake's
And Kenny and Ashly

We enjoyed this for 7 nights

Our first stop was Nassau, Bahamas

This photo is not photo shopped. The water really is that clear and blue. It's the most amazing water I have ever seen.

Here is what Matt looks like if he was a beached whale

We ate Caribbean food at a place called Cuzzins.
Here we are at the highest point over looking all of St. Thomas

Here is our cruise ship

Here is the beach at St. Thomas

And here is an iguana that walked past us while we were sun bathing

The boys snorkeled at every beach. Matt found a few cool shells, Ake found $20 in Bahamas dollars and Kenny found nothing.
A few minutes after this photo was taken, the guys all saw a really big barracuda fish.

The next day, we arrived in St. Maarten

It was very pretty and clean! A storm has blown through the night before and our snorkel excursion was canceled. We tried to go to a beach in town, but it was way to windy. I think we lasted about 20 mins before heading back to the ship. I only took about 3 photos the whole time we were there.
Every night after dinner, we would come back to a new towel animal left from our room service guy

We had a few fancy dinner nights and it was fun to get all dressed up
The other nights, we just dressed nice.
This was our server, Edgar. He is from the Philippines, has been married for 7 years and has been on a cruise ship for 13 years. This is his last year being a server on a ship. He wants to go home and start a family.

This was the hangout for Matt, Kenny and Ashly. It was the only smoking bar outside.

Breakfast every morning went something like this... buffets and greasy food overload.

Overall, it was a great vacation. Matt got the flu about half way through and after coming home, he developed a double ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. He is OK now, but it never fails... We go on vacation and he gets sick.
