3rd of July

Dayton celebrated Independence Day on July 3rd downtown on the river. We went with 2 couples that Matt works with. It was really fun. The firework show may have been the best firework show I have ever seen with the fireworks set up to music.

Right at 10 pm, all the lights in the buildings along the river shut off and the fireworks started. The music playing was the National Anthem, some country music and then some hardcore rap that I have never heard. When the hardcore rap came on, the crowd around us broke out into singing.



Although I am going to miss being home and BBQ and swimming with the family and then watching the fireworks in our backyard, this was great too. Overall it was a great fun night! Now today, which is 4th of July, there is a 70% chance of rain tonight which will ruin any plans of fireworks that people have. Rain on the 4th of July??? Who knew!
