Guess what I got today???!!!!

WHITE DISHES!!!! All from Goodwill! Doesn't it just complete the self?!

I also set up outside for tomorrow's 4^th of july party. I got candles from the dollar tree, ones that were in little votives, and I tied wire around them and then hung them under our ugly canopy (that will be going to a new home next week). With the combination of the half burnt out Christmas lights and fire pit, we should have enough light before the firework show taking place at the fairgrounds.

Doesn't it look cozy… Makes me miss the Akes… we would always sit out there under the lights and have dinner and I would listen while Matt and Jaime debate why the sky is blue… that's not really what a debate was over but I it was always something interesting. So interesting, I would get up and go clean up the dinner mess. Their debates usually end in "we agree to disagree"

After I got done outside I came in to find a pretty candle and a card addressed to me. It was from my wonderful husband. I thought…."is today some occasion I forgot…crap!?" but after opening it I realized it was just a gift and a card to say how wonderful I am… or maybe how wonderful he is? Here is the card. so cute. (He drew his beard)

It was so nice. I LOVE when he does stuff like this. I think I love the card the most because he always chooses the greatest ones. They always make me cry. I always appreciate the card the most because I know he took time to read through some to find the perfect one. And today I got one for no reason… just to say I love you. Man, I have the greatest husband.

The rest of the night was spent cooking for tomorrow. I bakes 4 pies, 2 sour cream apple ( my favorite of all time… it came up 2^nd place in the pie contest at work this week) and 2 peanut butter ones that takes like Reese's peanut butter cups. I have a feeling I will be gaining a few pounds tomorrow.
