Time flies when your having fun

Today is disgusting! It is supposed to be 108*… right now at 11:30 am, it is already 83* and 53% humidity! YUCK!!! Not to mention the smoky air from all the fires. It is killing my eyes!

Ok, im done complaining. Now, I move onto the talk about my wonderful 4 day weekend.

It really was wonderful and so relaxing. Every week we should have 2 extra days off. I think I will submit it into the suggestion box.

Thursday I slept in. It was beautiful outside with a high of 89*. The first half of the morning was spent preparing food for the following day, 4th of July.

Then I went swimming at my Mom’s.

Friday, 4th of July, was spent swimming at moms and then we came back to our house to have a BBQ and fireworks.
Jessica and her roommates Sarah and Rachel came over. This was the first time I had met them, but they already knew me and my life from my blog! So when I showed them around my house and introduced them to the dogs, they felt like they had already seen/met everything. It was fun. They felt like they met a celebrity! One they only read about but have never met.

The firework shows was great. We had awesome seats...in our back yard.

After the show ended, the family left and it was just Matt, Kenny and the girls and I. We all played Taboo. (Jaime, don’t worry, I still kicked butt and won. It wasn’t the same without you guys)

We turned in around 2 am….

Then we woke up and went to breakfast… Kenny called in sick so he could swim with us all day.

Kenny then was so excited to not go to work and to be swimming instead that he jumped into the pool with his cell phone…

We then acted like 10 year olds and came up with new tricks to do off the diving board.

(This is matt's famous "flipper" move...I laugh so hard I cry!!! I wish I could do a video of it)

Sarah got stung by a bee… and Matt had to pull the stinger out. This was not so fun…



Then we all laid out and got a sweet tan.

Now, Rachel and Sarah’s goal for the entire weekend was to make it on my blog. How funny! Well girls, here you are! Matt and Kenny decided that since they have recently lost Ake, the 3rd person in there group, that there is a spot available and have asked Rachel if she would like to join. That is of course after the hazing period =) Matt said he found his new best friend. I personally was shocked/impressed when Matt was talking to her about some Indy rock bands he liked (ones I had never heard of) and she actually knew who they were. I’m thinking Rachel will fit perfectly!


Sunday, we went swimming again except this time Pam and Aubrey came. Aubrey and I got a tan. We did lots of tanning this weekend.

So to sum up the weekend…Swimming, Eating, photos, Swimming, Eating, Eating, and Swimming, Sleeping in… that’s about it! I want to rewind and do it again and again minus the 4 lbs I gained though!!! This time I wouldn’t eat an entire sour cream apple pie to myself… I’d only eat half of it.
