Goodwill Weekend

On my way to the gym today I stopped into a Goodwill "Outlet". I think by Outlet, they mean a bunch of dirty stuff thrown into a huge bin that you have to dig into to find anything. I am not a fan of digging for dirty stuff, but it was pretty cheap and they had a few good items!

I got an old antique looking book that I added to my antique book pile

I got an old white glass lamp for $3 I got an ugly frame for $1 that I plan to spray paint and put a photo in.

I got a map print in a frame for Matt's office... It will fit well with the other maps in there.

I also got 2 small apothecary jars. I think I have an obsession with glass jars...and a fall wreath that is kind of ugly, but I can fix it.

BUT...
My #1 find is this chair! From the moment I saw it I thought "I have to have it" then my next thought was "How am I going to get this past Matt?" I paid $20 for it and although I thought that was a little too much, I still couldn't bring myself to leave it there.

When I brought it in, Matt laughed and asked if it was a joke. What I told him I LOVED it, he said that the next time I leave, the chair is going to magically disappear. I would die!

I steamed cleaned it and it now sits in my bedroom. Yes, it's a little 70's ish, but I still love it. One day when I can reupholster, I will redo it.
