Week 3 of gym

We are going on week 3 of having a gym membership... I have managed to go about 3-4x a week... I have lost NOTHING!! I love working out first thing in the morning when I wake up, but since Matt goes to work early, the only way I can work out is if I take Cohen to my folks house and let my Dad babysit. They have a gym right next to their house which makes it convenient. But by the time I get ready, feed baby, get him ready and load up the car of my gym stuff, the baby stuff and the dogs then drive 20 mins to their house, I am tired and no longer in the mood to work out! But, I do it!! I force myself to go.

I know it is going to be hard to get to my goal weight... I can feel it. With nursing, which burns 500-800 calories a day, plus working out, I am ALWAYS hungry... I need to find better snacks other than Ritz Crackers, which I LOVE. I just have to make sure I cut back on my calories but still intake enough so I can produce enough milk to feed my growing chunky monkey. I love that I am responsible for every little roll and dimple on his body!

I think if I can keep myself busy and get out of the house more I wouldn't think about food so much... But being home a lot and being bored, all I want to do it snack. I am glad we started this competition early so it gives me plenty of time to be ready by summer... but at this rate I feel like I need more than 4 months!

I hear ya sister.

I had lost a good 5 lbs and counting and then two weeks ago, I gained three back and have just been "resting" even though I have been working out diligently.

I think I need to push myself harder in the workout arena. PLUS get my food in check. I need to eat more regularly ... instead of one bigger meal a day. Routine, I need a routine! :)

I think I might try GST on Friday morning.

What time does Matt go to work? "Blingy" and I meet at the gym at 5:30 am, and though it's early, it really pays off for me to go and get it over with.

Good for you for having such good discipline, even though the results are not being kind :) It will pay off as long as you keep at it!

Just some advice on a good and healthy snack for you. Since you like Ritz crackers so much lol there are Kelloggs crackers that are actually good for you and taste good too. You may want to check them out if you are into crackers that much plus they have Kellogg bars etc. I work at a desk job and so I tend to munch a lot during the day which isn't good at all, but having a healthy snack makes it a lot easier that's for sure.
